AvMarkets was founded in 2001 as a reverse auction bidding platform for commercial aircraft heavy maintenance. A lot has changed in the aviation industry since 2001 and although we have rolled with the changes, our passion is still focused on creating technology that helps buyers and sellers find each other in a complex and rapidly changing aviation landscape. Our core competency is a combination of software development and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) in the aviation industry. Our MRO Search Engine is dedicated to over 4000 FAA 145 Repair Stations. Our patented technology takes advantage of major search engine algorithms to help repair stations index their repair capabilities for greater visibility to customers worldwide.
What is FAA 145 Search?
AvMarkets FAA 145 Search is a public MRO search engine for aviation related companies or individuals from any sector of the industry looking for a qualified shop to repair a component, assembly, engine or aircraft to airworthy standards. This helps aircraft operators and owners find a qualified repair station fast, easy & free! When a potential customer types in the component part number or keyword from the home page our database will return any FAA 145 repair station that has an active membership and included that particular item in their repair capabilities. Visitors can submit unlimited RFQ's to their selected repair stations via email or directly by phone or fax.
Can anyone register as a repair station?
No! If you do not see your company on our list of shops then you are not qualified to register. You MUST be a Certified FAA 145 Repair Station to register. Any public visitor can use our search engine for free to find a repair station, but in order to register and upload your repair capabilities you MUST be a repair station in good standings with the FAA. You are required to match your company name with your FAA certificate number during registration. We verify all registrations before approving.
How does this MRO search engine help FAA Repair Stations?
We provide an opportunity for repair stations to receive sales leads by uploading their inventory and repair capabilities into our MRO search engine. This allows them to appear in the search results as a qualified repair station. We are another strategic selling option to help them sell their inventory and repair services on a global stage. How is this search engine different than other services?
Our FAA 145 Search website is a search engine not a tradition online marketplace. We use our own patented technology to index your capabilities using search engine algorithms. This makes what we do different. We never tell our members to leave other services to join ours. We leave that decision to our users. Other companies may provide value added services that we don't, and we know we provide services they don't. Our users have to determine which product works best for their business, and we think it's important to try them all to see what works best for them.
Does it cost anything to use FAA 145 Search?
It is free for the public to search for FAA 145 Repair Stations and submit unlimited RFQ's. There is a annual fee with a 90 day risk free cancellation with a full refund policy for Repairs Stations. Please contact AvMarkets for membership rates.
What does it mean that AvMarkets is a Boeing Approved Supplier?
Although our passion is software development and our core business is our MRO Search Engine, we have also been selling inventory for many years. We are an approved Boeing supplier, selling parts and supplies to Boeing military and commercial contracts for several years. If you need to purchase inventory or you have inventory that Boeing wants to purchase but your company is not Boeing approved, let us know, maybe we can help.
When was the last time AvMarkets FAA 145 Search! was updated with FAA data?
Last FAA update was 12-13-2017 03:08 EST. This is the last time our system was updated with data from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). We try to update this site weekly so if you do not see changes immediately please check back Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week.
As a Repair Station, how can I be included in the opportunities available on AvMarkets FAA 145 Search?
Simply sign up for your account by completing the 3 step registration process. During registration you will be able to upload your logo, certifications, capabilities, pictures and video of your company. This will enhance your FAA profile which will be viewable by the public and linked to your capabilities. Repair Stations that do not sign up and enhance their profile by adding their capabilities (as a list of numbers) will not show up as a qualified shop when searched by potential customers, therefore not taking advantage our sales lead generator.
I see our company profile but my name is not listed. I am in sales and want to be listed as a contact for RFQ's?
The contacts you see under Key Personnel are provided by the FAA and cannot be changed on our system. This data comes directly from the FAA. Typically, this is the FAA Quality contact person for your company and may not be a sales person for your company. Anyone from your company can register to show up as a sales person on the profile page to received RFQ's, just Sign Up! This does not reflect anything associated at the FAA. Your membership on this site has nothing to do with the information your quality people provide to the FAA for your company's license requirements. This site is strictly designed to help you sell your repair services. Using this site does not submit anything to the FAA as we are an independent company.
Who receives the RFQ's for my Repair Station?
Each person from your company who registered and uploaded their capabilities on our site. Even though you can see your company profile on our site there is no way for any customer searching our site to know of your capabilities unless you have registered and uploaded your capabilities. For Example; every FAA 145 Repair Station has an initial public profile on our site but even the Key Personnel listed will not get an RFQ unless they register and upload their capabilities by part number.
If I have an AOG what is the best method to send an RFQ to a repair station?
When submitting an RFQ through our site you can choose to send it to a repair station either by email, phone or fax. Although, our email system works very well, due to the complex nature of email technology, connecting servers all over the World that may have issues which are unforeseen and out of our control, we recommend contacting the repair station directly via phone if you need a quick response.
Where does AvMarkets FAA 145 Search get the repair station company details?
AvMarkets receives the FAA 145 Repair Station Data from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). We do not alter any of the information we receive from the FAA. The repair stations can enhance their company profile by including Additional Details like a Logo, Certifications, Capabilities, Pictures and Video.
I noticed my Repair Station Address is incorrect, how can I get it corrected?
AvMarkets receives this data from the FAA. We cannot change this information, furthermore, we do not allow repair stations to change it from within their account. You MUST contact your local FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) to request the change. It will reflect on our site once it has been corrected at the FAA level. This process keeps the information accurate, credible and synchronized with the FAA.
I am a repair station and need help uploading information to my profile, can you help?
Yes! If you need help uploading your capabilities watch our video by selecting it from the menu above. If after the video you still need help please click the Chat! image at the top of this page to chat with our support reps. You can always send us an email from the Contact page. If you call our office you can expect to be told to send an email regarding your issue, this allows us to keep history of your inquire.
Does AvMarkets store my credit card information on their servers?
No! We do not store any credit card numbers on our servers. If you registered by selecting the invoice option then you didn't provide AvMarkets your credit card information anyway. If you did, it is a one time process which is not stored and uses industry standard 2048 bit encryption to process your credit card transaction. When you renew your annual membership fee you will be asked again for your credit card data because we do not store the information. We also accept check, wire transfer and PayPal for payments and we do not store any of this information on our servers.
How can I be removed from this website?
Please email us and we will remove you. Please be aware that if you are removed from our FAA 145 Search Site you will not be able to promote your repair services using our technology.
